The BS in 计算机工程 program provides you with a strong foundation to design 和 analyze computer hardware 和 low-level software. The BS in 计算机工程 degree is accredited by the 工程 Accreditation Commission of ABET.

• A minimum 131 credits are required for this major, including 59 upper-division credits.
• This major includes requirements in mathematics 和 science such as MAT 2720 Discrete Mathematics 和 PHY 1121 物理 和 Science 和 工程.
• 工程 requirements include EGR 3810 一般工程 Design 和 EGR 4899 计算机工程 Capstone 和 Design.

• A minimum 55 credits are required for this minor, including 15 upper-division credits.
• The 50 credits of required core courses include CSC 1230 Problem Solving & Programming, CPE 3280 Microcontroller System Design, 和 MAT 1234 Calculus I.
• Electives can be chosen from courses such as CSC 3221 Netcentric Computing 和 CSC 3430 Algorithm & 分析.

Students who have demonstrated their ability to succeed in engineering classes are welcome to apply to an engineering major.

This ability is demonstrated by completing the following courses 在SPU 最小值是2.5 GPA, both in coursework required for the engineering major 和 的累积绩点:

• 专业:EE 2726 电路I, or a course taken 在SPU requiring “Circuits I” as a prerequisite, prior to applying to this major.

Once you have completed those courses:
